Many would argue that nicer things always cost more, but this is actually not true.

Good design does not necessarily mean expensive design. Good design simply means that all things are considered (sun, wind, lifestyles, users, access, interests, surroundings, visual style etc.) and the design is made with a purpose. Architects are trained to meet your needs within your budget.

The true cost of good design is simply a dedicated architect and a close collaboration between the clients and designers. Both parties need to spend time exploring and discussing the goals and intentions of the project, and the designers need to put time into translating these goals into ideas and design solutions.
